Go Green Camp!
The Go Green! Environmental Summer Camp, offered by NYU Family Care, the Wallerstein Collaborative for Urban Environmental Education at NYU Steinhardt, and the McBurney YMCA, is specially designed to provide an engaging and fun campus-based camp experience for the elementary school-aged children of NYU faculty, administrators, and staff.
The environmental curriculum, developed by the Wallerstein Collaborative for Urban Environmental Education, offers an exploration of environmental science topics. Topics include: Ecosystems, Energy, Water, and Sustainability.
The program provides a balance of educational experiences, urban field explorations, and typical summer camp recreational activities.
Each year we will continue to build the website to document our work and share resources with you.
